THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
The main, permanent set supplied in the set hire package is a box style set which remains on stage for the entire performance. It is completely free standing and measures 7.1m wide and 4.2m high. This picture also shows the staircases. The centre door is practical.
The main set has stage left and right windows which are boarded up. These are false doors which can be opened by cast members to reveal Morticia's boudoir amd a library/ study
The main staircase is trucked in two parts and can be configured in various ways. It can appear to go off stage as in the main set picture above or form an up and over centre feature. It can also be reversed to form another room. The stairs measure 2m wide amd 2.3m high each.
The Addams Family set package is supplied with a pair of trucked gates. They measure 1.8m wide and 2.5m high each., making a total width of 3.6m
The Crypt is trucked and measures 1.7m wide and 2.7m high. It has a split black curtain attached and when positioned in front of the main set , ancestors can use the practical door in the main set to appear through the Crypt.
The Addams Family set package is supplied with a three part table. Each part is 1.2m long

it is trucked and will fold down to 1.2m wide for wing storage. The wrist and ankle shackles are retractable so when the actor moves there arms and legs apart the chains remain tight.
